Sobridine is an experimental medication developed by DARPA in the United States to treat addiction symptoms amongst troops embroiled in the Vietnam War, where addiction rates to hard drugs such as Heroin have skyrocketed. Unlike the commercial Naltrexone, Sobridine promises instant addiction relief after a single day of treatment with no side effects or Withdrawal symptoms. However, its complicated and expensive production process (suspected to include extracts from rare Oceanykan flora) has prevented wider distribution, as have inconclusive reports of long-term brain damage from multiple treatments. It is possible to acquire in Oceanyka through back-channels, but will carry a hefty price.
