A tourniquet is a medical device designed to tighten around a creature's limbs, thus completely stopping bleeding. It is even effective in cases that would otherwise result in massive and immediate blood loss, such as becoming suddenly and violently Amputated. While previously shunned by medical professionals due to its tendency to result in limb loss due to extended periods of usage. Never, under any circumstances, leave a tourniquet placed for more than 2 hours (unless it is a truly life-threatening wound), always mark the time of placement and seek immediate medical evacuation.

For each tourniquet used, inflict a temporary instance of Crippled which cannot be resolved by any means but removing the tourniquet.
Removing the tourniquet will result in the continuation of Bleeding or Severe Bleeding. They are a temporary measure meant to buy time.
