Lost Carcosa is a Micro-Realm 🛑 accessed via The Dreamspace. Its landscape is dominated by the namesake City of Carcosa, a well-planned metropolis of onyx-coloured stone buildings, long abandoned and in a state of disrepair. It is located at the shores of Lake Hali, a large body filled with a viscous, black liquid and permanently covered by a thick, yet shallow fog. Around the city and its lake, the Amber Prairie extends for kilometres, seemingly with no end. Carcosa is inhabited primarily by the Courtesans, an assembly of maddened humanoid creatures religiously obsessed with their eternal monarch; the Yellow King, an immensely powerful Pseudogod representing spiritual decadence in the quest of infinite knowledge.
