Troopwork is the most honest and brutal form of adventuring, where the "Contractor" becomes a cog in the inhuman machinery of war, often with a specific strategic purpose. They are a hired gun, an identifiable mercenary fighting in open battle for a day’s pay, often facing dreadsome things like tanks and heavy artillery. Whether it’s a "static guard" contract for a border crossing or a trench-clearing role in a major offensive, Troopwork is loud, messy, and very memorable.
Unfortunately, due to the secretive nature of their work, Secret Society Trackers do not have at their disposal "Anomalous Troopwork" contracts, or anything of the sort. In fact, if something like that were to happen, they'd paint the biggest target in the world on their backs, and the Federal Special Research Division would come knocking very violently.
