Languages is a Primary General Skill that denotes a character's capacity for learning and retaining additional languages beyond their native tongue. Each level purchased grants fluency in one additional language of the player's choice, subject to in-game justification. This General Skill can be taken an unlimited number of times.
Refer to Language in the Oceanykan Federation for a comprehensive list of relevant languages, not only within The Oceanykan Federation, but throughout all of Earth.
Note that if a character is fluent in a language, they may learn 2 languages from the same branch for the same cost as learning one from another branch. For example, a character that is fluent in English may learn Korean or, for the same EXP expenditure, learn both German and Dutch.
