Refined cobalt is a hard, lustrous, blue-grey metal with exceptional high-temperature stability. Its primary applications are in superalloys for Jet Technology ✈️, where it maintains structural integrity at temperatures that would soften conventional steel, in cutting tool alloys such as Stellite, and as a blue pigment with a long artistic and ceramic history. Cobalt in the Oceanykan interior is often found in the form of cobalt-bearing ores such as cobaltite.
