Vorek Thane

Warden of the Pale Lodge (Ashkarin Chapter)

🛡️ Vorek Thane

Title: Warden of the Pale Lodge (Ashkarin Chapter)
Race: Half-Orc
]Background: Outlander (Exiled Guide)
Symbol: A white bird bearing a sickle, stitched on the inner lining of his cloak.

📜 Description:

Vorek Thane is a broad-shouldered, weathered half-orc whose presence fills a room like a coming storm. His hair is silver-threaded black, worn in thick braids, and his skin bears the scars of claw, blade, and magic.
His green-gray eyes are keen, restless, and rarely still, scanning every horizon even when he sits calmly at the Lodge’s central table.

Vorek dresses in simple, rugged gear — thick leather reinforced with ironwood plates, a dark cloak with a hidden white bird sigil inside the folds. A war-honed scimitar and a longbow of pale wood hang easily at his sides.

He laughs quickly and easily—but there's a deadly edge to him, like a hawk watching for weakness.
Among Lodge members, he is a trusted warden, mentor, and sometimes judge. Among outsiders, he is known only as a rumor: "the Wing-Broken Yet Unbowed."

🧠 Personality:

  • Pragmatic but Hopeful: Believes in second chances, but not third ones.

  • Sharp-Witted: Wields words and silences like weapons.

  • Patient as Stone: Vorek can wait months to strike, setting plans that only unfold when the trail is ready.

  • Fiercely Loyal: Betrayal is the only unforgivable sin.

  • Reveres Freedom: Hates tyranny in all forms — religious, political, arcane.
