You’ve walked the twisting switchback trails, waded through mist and warmth, and pried treasures from the bones of old ruins. This stretch of the canyon now feels almost familiar, though its silence still carries a wary edge.

  • The Concealing Copse – A stand of ancient, gnarled trees that seemed far too quiet… until you learned its secret: an old enchantment that cloaks intruders as part of the grove itself. The brigands know about it—some of you have the bruises to prove it.

  • The Tepid Pool – Warm, misty waters beneath a cascade, with reeds and frogs and a strange silver dome on the bottom. You’ve left it alone… for now.

  • The Hot Spring Cave – Heavy steam, scalding water, and another curious dome, this one brass. Clearly part of some larger, ancient magic at work far below.

  • The Ruins and Caches – You’ve uncovered coins, gems, scrolls, and trinkets among crumbling walls, old lairs, and forgotten satchels. Some were guarded by giant vermin, some by nothing more than dust.

  • Odd Residents – A crab spider hanging in ambush, a frothing raccoon ready to bite, giant centipedes hiding in the rot, and even spitting cobras beneath sagging stone.

  • Whispers of the Past – Goblin paintings fading into shadow, crude graffiti from adventurers who came before you, and that grim rhyme over the great archway—half warning, half epitaph.

  • Descent Below – At last, the great spiral stair in Hell’s Entrance Hall, worn smooth by countless feet, leading deeper into darkness.

The canyon’s western reaches are now mapped in your minds, but it still feels like the place is watching, waiting… and the sound of water in the distance seems to echo far deeper than it should.
