Also known as Vampires or Kindred, they are undead bloodsucking creatures that feed off the vital essence of the living. They posses various different bloodlines that are the result of the distillation of their own dead Vitae.
Their true origins are unknown but it is theorize by the people that Vampyrs are the children of Tlazōlteōtl and/or Mictlantecuhtli but it is wrong to assume that any of them had anything to do in the creation of the Vampyrs.
Those recently embraced vampyrs start as "Caitiff" or as one without a bloodline until either they go thru a distillation in order to create their own bloodline or they go thru the process of vinculum and are adopted into an already existing bloodline.
