Third Way was a highly specialized and semi secretive Asterian sister organization to the Rainbow Stars and Vanguard. It acted as the covert operations wing of Asterian communality in charge of conducting possibly deniable and secretive ghostly missions aside from recon of and in foreign alien environments and inside Earth.
Due to the Rainbow Stars were more equiped to deal with out right threats and had the explicit mission of exploring space and bringing abducted humans back to their siblings, much of the organization missions took place inside humanity's cradle where they continue to conduct the rescue, and possible recruitment and training, of marginalized, trafficked and/or endangered humans inside Earth; the erasure of any possible evidence that could reveal their existance to its countries and people; limited and subtle sabotage of violent and abusive networks and the infiltration and placement of cells inside the cradle.
The creation of such organization was not sanctioned by Ashley Virtanen, tho they knew of its existance.
Most of its members weren't trained cold-blooded spies and/or staunch golden heart revolutionaries. But rather over abused individuals that had suffered systemic violence and/or had left to rot and die alone by societies on earth.
So, selected groups of people with depression, form the socially marginalized, the vulnerable and those who had been the subject of systemic abuse, possibly even also trafficked, were picked as prime candidates to be recruited by this organization. This rare and strange recruiting pool was put in place under the knowledge that only those who had truly struggled, suffer and had been abused, were the only ones who truly could keep the community safe in the shadows.
Third Way put immense effort in rescuing, extracting and rehabilitate such individuals from whom those who showed potential were voluntarily recruited and trained as agents.
