Daniel left a provisionary council in place, chosen by him and Cassia, with the future ruler position reserved for Ateia's children. The new administration had a long and arduous task ahead of them. They had to not only rebuilt previously lost infrastructure but also mend broken ecosystems that were damaged during the fighting or were internally sabotaged.
A deadly foreign agent was discovered that had to be contained and dealt with, otherwise the entirety of the planets algae species would die out. As such, the only source of income left for them in the meantime were the Purple Wine vineyards, that would also take years to go back to full capacity.
Another somewhat controversial decision the Lord Commander did, compared to his uncle's reign was to force House Ruvinum to almost completely abandon it's previously algae food based products in favor for boosting the wine production. He also pushed them to use their previous knowledge to begin developing laboratories that focus on developing anti-pathogen products, focused on combating sabotage attempts like the one that they've been hit during the war.
