As the body of Theos Orpheus was barely cold, an alliance was struck between lady Nyx and lord Kairos. A marriage between Damocles and Anysia that would bring the two houses closer. Damocles with his political acumen would be crucial in the events to come for House Nyx.
This single decision drew the House in a conflict that led them to becoming pivotal in the fight against the Bene Tleilax master and his Face Dancers. From what started as a political agreement, an actual bond formed as Damocles earned both the respect and trust of his wife and her daughters.
Being so central to the conflict came with many losses for the House, including Althea Nyx, wife of the current Lord Commander, Scott Aeolus. She died at the end of a Face Dancer blade, one of many casualties of the war for Azhar.
After the fight, due to their domains being mostly untouched few relief funds were send. Those that were collected from their overlords were used to capitalize on the conflict and expand their kanly operations.
