The most striking feature of the Commerce Ward is the Tower of the Twelve, an enormous 13-spired building that floats above the city. Most of the structure is filled with arcane laboratories and libraries devoted to eldritch subjects. This research institute also holds meeting rooms for the dragonmarked houses to resolve their differences and strike new terms of cooperation. Industrialized lifts using the principles of the levitate spell allow both people and cargo to get up to and down from the airborne structure.

Korth was the first Karrnathi city to build an airship docking tower, located not far from the Tower of the Twelve. Completed in 993 YK, it quickly became the preferred mode of transportation for every baron except Kwanti d’Orien. Local service includes Atur, Karrlakton, Rekkenmark, and Vedykar, with international flights connecting through Thaliost and Flamekeep. The long flights to Krona Peak and Taer Valaestas are much rarer and usually stop in Atur and Karrlakton respectively to ensure the elemental is as fresh as possible for the trip. Still, House Kundarak and House Lyrandar’s extensive holdings in those cities ensure regular traffic to and from Korth. House Ghallanda has thus far resisted installation of a docking tower in Gatherhold, limiting visitors to those willing to take the long Lightning Rail trip south from Karrlakton.

Beyond the Tower of the Twelve, Korth is home to a number of major house enclaves. Cannith, Deneith, Jorasco, Kundarak, Medani, Orien, and Thuranni all have significant institutional presence in the city. Adventurers seeking out the services of an Heir of Siberys of one of those houses have a good chance of finding them in Korth.
