Asrelia is the keeper and distributor of all treasures. She hoards all good things away from the sight of mortals and makes them available only to those who treat her with respect and reverence. She is the goddess of Deep Earth and resides far beneath the surface.

Iconography
Asrelia is usually portrayed upon a rich throne, bedecked with endless necklaces and rings, and cloaked in robes of precious metals. She is usually depicted as being old, although sometimes she is depicted as young and beautiful. Crudely cut jewels, charged flints, living stones, fossils, and endless coins blanket the ground at her feet.
Beside her, on an ornate gold stand, is an elaborate wheel holding the names of every living mortal someplace upon its limitless rim. Prayers to her become crystals whose clarity is determined by compassion, whose radiance is determined by want, and whose shape is determined by need. When one catches her eye Asrelia places it upon her spinning wheel. When it falls, so falls the wealth of the recipient.
Runic Associations
Asrelia is an important goddess of Earth and Fertility. She herself is associated with the Luck Rune and conveys its blessings on her worshipers.
Nature of the Cult
The Goddess of Deep Earth, Asrelia is the keeper and dispenser of wealth. She is invoked by all who desire wealth and by all who desire to protect the wealth they have. She is the goddess of the granary, the treasury, of gems, and precious metals. She can be found wherever her daughters are.
Asrelia is most worshiped as an associate goddess of Ernalda, as the keeper of the granaries. Ernalda’s tithe is typically in grain and kept in temple granaries that serve as shrines to Asrelia.
However, she does have a small independent cult. The great Earth temples have warehouses that are used not only to store grain, but also wine, foodstuffs, clothing, precious metals and gems, and even stone. These warehouses are the temples of Asrelia and, as a result, the cult is extremely rich and influential despite its small size.
Asrelia is also worshiped as the patron goddess of miners, who seek for treasures within the earth.
Asrelia is also worshiped by the Uz, who love her for her accessibility. The trolls claim that Asrelia made and inhabits the many tunnels and caverns that trolls so love.
Particular Likes and Dislikes
Asrelia is devoted to her daughters Ernalda and Maran Gor. She is friendly towards most Earth goddesses and to the Lightbringers; Issaries and Lhankor Mhy are close because of the cult’s activities. Asrelia is associated with deities of Fire in Earth, including Lodril, and Caladra and Aurelion, although she is neutral towards the Sky Gods.
Asrelia is friendly to both Argan Argar and Kyger Litor, who aided her in the Lesser Darkness. She is also friendly towards both elves and dwarfs.
Asrelia despises all that is Chaos.
