This plot was solid earth once, until ensorcelled by Delecti the Necromancer, a sorcerer who reached magus level about 800 years ago. He did it to save himself and his followers from the Golden Horde. It succeeded, and he “lives” there still, an immortal vampire. Within the treacherous bogs, streams, and sandbars are many undead strongholds. Delecti's Ruins, vast acres of fallen buildings, are inhabited by his bizarre undead constructs. In the waters swims an undead killer whale.
