This settlement on Danda Creek is connected to Kostardosham, a Dolutha village, by a wooden bridge. Kostardosham is larger than Oxlodge, and Oxlodge seems more like an outlying part of Kostardosham than an isolated stead.
The locals join in with village activities and celebrations in Kostardosham, and to all intents and purposes are part of that community. However, the conflict between the Dolutha and the Red Cow means that Oxlodge can become the front line in times of difficulty, and friendships between the villages can turn to hate overnight.
