Cayden Cailean, the Lucky Drunk
"He got drunk, took the Test of the Starstone on a dare, survived, and woke up a god with no memory of how he did it. He's been living up to the title ever since. Mostly."
God of freedom, bravery, ale, and wine. Cayden Cailean is the god of good times, good deeds, and not thinking too hard about the consequences of either. He's also the patron of the brave, the liberator of slaves, and the divine proof that you don't need a plan to change the world — sometimes you just need courage, luck, and enough alcohol to make the impossible seem reasonable.
His faith is joyful, disorganised, and surprisingly effective. His temples are taverns (or taverns that double as temples, depending on the tax code). His clergy are brewers, freedom fighters, and the kind of people who start bar fights against slavers. In Canorate, Cayden's faithful are the festival's loudest voices and the Sootward's quietest allies — passing drinks through tavern windows to mul workers and whispering that freedom is worth fighting for.
