Caldar (nation)

Nation

Caldar is a nation unlike any other, formed by a group of ostracized Half Elves who were shunned by other races and left with no place to call home. Located deep in the heart of the continent, Caldar has no official name of its own and is often referred to simply as "the Half Elf nation." Despite the challenges they have faced, the Half Elves of Caldar have established a vibrant and thriving society that is fiercely protective of their homeland.

The landscape of Caldar is diverse and varied, with thick forests dominating the northern reaches of the country and rolling hills and plains in the south. The climate is similarly split, with the north being cold and harsh, while the south enjoys a more temperate climate. Despite the challenges posed by the harsh climate and rugged terrain, the Half Elves of Caldar have learned to thrive in their environment and have developed a deep connection to the natural world.

Geography

Caldar is located at the heart of the continent, surrounded by rugged mountains and dense forests. To the north lies a vast expanse of thick forests that stretch out as far as the eye can see. These forests are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including towering trees, colorful birds, and majestic beasts. To the south lies a series of rolling hills and plains that are much more hospitable to life. Here, the Half Elves of Caldar have established vast farms and ranches that provide food and resources to the entire nation.

In recent years, however, a strange sickness has swept through the country, turning many of the Half Elves into raving lunatics. The cause of the sickness is unknown, but many believe that it is somehow linked to the dense forests to the north. Despite the threat posed by the sick, the Half Elves of Caldar remain committed to protecting their homeland and finding a cure for the sickness that plagues their people.

Government

Caldar is a democracy that is governed by a council of elected officials. The council is comprised of representatives from each of the major cities and regions within the nation, and they are responsible for making decisions that impact the entire country. The council is led by a president, who is elected by the people every four years. The president serves as both the head of state and the commander-in-chief of the Caldar military.

The Caldar military was considered one of the weakest amongst the nations of the continent, as the residents suffered from other inner problems for far too long and had little intention of fighting wars. The general apathy from the neighboring nations showed them that there is little motive to invade Caldar, thus military was deemed an unimportant aspect.

Demographics

Caldar is primarily populated by Half Elves, who make up the vast majority of the population. These Half Elves are a unique mix of Elven and Human ancestry, and they possess a wide range of physical traits and abilities. Despite their diverse origins, the Half Elves of Caldar are united in their love for their homeland and their commitment to protecting it from harm.

The Half Elves of Caldar are fiercely protective of their culture and traditions, and they work hard to ensure that their way of life is preserved for future generations. They are skilled craftsmen, hunters, and farmers, and they take great pride in their work. Despite the challenges they have faced, the Half Elves of Caldar remain committed to building a better future for themselves and their families.
