The Asimokan are a gaseous-type species, with translucent spherical forms that "float" in most gravitational settings. The species shares a collective memory and consciousness, such that "individual" Asimokan (each referred to by the singular 'Asemokan') are only spatio-temporally distinct--all sensory input from the particular surroundings of each Asemokan are experienced and processed across the entire Asimokan consciousness simultaneously. The Asimokan communicate with other species through wave sequences within the frequency range of 30 PHz to 300 Hz, transmitted across the surface of their spheres. These communicatory transmissions are informally referred to as "light shows", though the patterns and color perceived by interlocutors differ based on the wave spectrum visible to each species.
