The Blades of Horus are famous amongst Canthgar's innumerable mercenary companies as the single most brutal and ruthlessly efficient band of warriors. Their name comes from their affiliation to the Realm of Horus and, some suspect, Horus himself. While the Mercenary Kingdom of Canthgar is officially neutral in matters of religion, it does not disallow open worship, probably out of mercantile interest.
The Blades' have their hands in many a business, both of the usual and unsavory kind. Over the years, their accumulated riches allowed them to diversify away from the strict business of battelfields and into protection, transport and, some say, assassination.
They are known to recruit amongst those with troubled pasts, and to not be above blackmail and extortion. Therefore be careful, outsider, before double crossing the Black Maw.
