The Tarsal clan has lived in the region wearing its name for a very long time. It leads the clans surrounding it in a semi-stable political arrangement of free but dependant clans. Tarsal City itself is a vast cosmopolitan city, equal only to Tal'Erj in its number of planar denizen.

Tarsal

Tarsal, a city that is as amazing as it is horrible... In my 9 years that I have come to call Tarsal my home, I have seen an innumerable amount of wondrous sights within these walls. Each month brings in a new crop of planar travelers that find themselves taking their first steps on Mellus, and in my humble opinion these plane walkers are the blood that flows through Tarsal. Every new soul brings in their own unique knowledge, culture, and artisanal techniques that constantly propels the city forward to new heights. The city is always interested in the new eccentric and fanciful folk that find themselves in this ever growing Metropolis, but this interest is sometimes perverted...

Many plane walkers are capable of carving out their own little corners of the city in which they thrive and make admirable contributions to society, but their are many others that get swept up in the pre-existing dark corners of Tarsal that plague this city. Some individuals are incapable of creating their own path, these are the people the are forced to utilize their beautiful talents... as slaves. Different clans, nobles, and powerful entities within Tarsal partake in this barbarous practice, just to get a leg up on each other. The gleaming lights of Tarsal shine ever so brightly, but I worry that the brighter it shines, the longer its wicked shadow will cast on the city.

In Tarsal you can be anyone. It doesnt matter if you are a regal humanoid bird with glistening soft feathers, or if you are a... uhmm, a frog man. Everyone learns from each other, regardless of where you are from. The same goes for the slavery in Tarsal, not even their own country men are safe from being preyed upon by this horrid fate.

A place of endless potential, One can only hope that Tarsal will one day improve and become a shining bastion of endless culture. One propelled forward by the people that congregate to create a place greater than the sum of its parts.
