Here on the 1st of Storms we finally complete our pilgrimage to have our dear friend Rook reborn anew. To think we had met all the way back in Sarendar. Him a reluctant slaver and us the latest bumbling band of idiots to step foot into town. One shakey alliance later and now we have a brother for life. He may be a freak of nature who could probably crush a stone with his pinky finger, but he is a dear brother nonetheless.
We spoke a few nights ago about his homeland. He said he hailed from a place known as Thenerin south of the ring sea. He seemed a bit at a loss as to what direction he was going to be heading now that he wasn't under the boot of the tyrannical Captain Thorne. So I figured I would blow some wind in his sails and point him towards our home of Karel to be our town guard captain. He seemed intrigued but worried he'd accidentally smash a trainee's bones into dust, but the way I see it this man will offer our home a stronger foundation that will be carried upon his shoulders.
