Bone Keeper

character path

Bone Keepers have no name of their own, having gifted it to the Worm Mother in exchange for knowledge of the Old Ways. Instead, Bone Keepers are referred to by their tribe’s name, which they personify. They are tribal guardians, enforcers, teachers and spiritual leaders all at once. Still, their most sacred duty is the protection of their ancestral lands, home to the Kindler of Wills, the heart of all living things.

Apprentices often go on a spiritual journey, before coming back to become a full Bone Keeper and either take over their tribe or set roots in a new one. An older keeper on the road is never a good sign. It implies a tribe’s tragic end, a failure during trial or even worse, rogue shamans drunk on their power. Rarely, they go on a quest of prime importance.

BOLD ACTION | 1d8 FOG

Create a bone construct. Choose a spot within 8 paces and summon a skeletal construct of varying forms: a barrier, a weapon, or a creature (e.g. a skeletal shield, a bone spear, or a bone golem). The construct lasts for 3 rounds. It can either provide cover (a barrier that absorbs 1d12 damage), be used as a weapon (deals 1d12+Heart damage), or act as a creature (1d6 Health, uses 1d6 / +2 for all rolls).
