The height of a child and the width of two men, with hatred and spite for ten.

After isolating themselves below the surface for thousands of years, the Dwergaz have become xenophobic zealots with a penchant for schemes, poisons and forbidden lore.
A desperate war for survival against the giants of queen Jaldhyr has made their society utilitarian and hierarchical, held together by tradition, rituals and dogmatic belief. Practically all Dwergaz believe on a fundamental level that the end always justifies the means.

Though their skin mimicks the color of their early life environment, all Dwargaz living underground sport streaks of purple and blue. Those who spend too long on the surface gradually lose the tint.
Dwergaz possess a second set of semi-transparent eyelid that act as shield for bright light sources, such as forgefire or surface light. Dwergaz must shave head and beard altogether for sanitary reasons, or so the law says. In practice, the higher you are in society, the more hair you can get away with.
