A Defense Attorney who returned to the courtroom after several years of hiatus. While he is physically blind, he seems to have a third eye for perceiving evidence. Light is quite friendly on the surface and has a knack for getting people to cooperate, but shows no mercy for the wicked and sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him.
Though he sometimes ends up with his foot in his mouth, he puts everything he has into defending his clients no matter the cost.
