Local private investigator who works out of what he calls the "Detective jakkid166 Detective Office" in Los Angeles. When talking with the man himself, the first thing one tends to notice is his apparent decision to talk in excessively broken grammar, to the point that you somehow get the feeling he isn't even capitalizing the beginnings of the sentences he says aloud.
Known for always asserting himself as the "Greatest Detective in the World", Detective jakkid166 (which is his actual, legal name) seems to consistently make very strange conclusions and excessively wide leaps in logic. This is paired with his tendency for cartoonish action and dangerous stunts, as evidenced by at least one instance where he drove a car directly into a courtroom, narrowly missing the baliff at the time. Despite this, jakkid166 appears to never have been charged with anything.
Although he is known for his recklessness and... unique lines of logic, jakkid166 has managed to solve multiple crimes in the past, with his unconventional investigation style sometimes leading him to infer things no one else would have thought of. However, his reputation among those beyond his close associates remains shaky, which isn't helped by his repeated insistence that he has solved crimes for clients such as "Twilight Sparkle" and "Jesus".
Even though he seems to portray himself in a very egotistical manner, asserting his status as the world's greatest detective, jakkid166 seems to generally try to keep a respectful demeanor, albeit a very overconfident one.
Bears a bit of an odd resemblance to Jack Kidd, a similarity exacerbated by their similar-sounding names. Despite this, there is no indication that they have any kind of association at the time being.
