After reprovisioning the fleet over the winter, Aurelius Ambrosius sails to the Continent, destroying all the hostile shipping as he goes. The British army lands in Frisia, doing great damage to the Saxons there, and winning a battle against the barbarians.

Prince Uther continues to defend Logres in the High King’s absence, the borderlands between the Cymric and Saxon lands witnessing numerous small skirmishes as patrols and raiding parties collide.

Further north, at Carrick (Bedegraine), a large invasion of Saxons led by Paschent, Vortigern’s son, is defeated by Britons. Duke Edmyg of the March is killed, although rumors don’t agree if it was in this battle or some other one.

Sir Aed was betrothed to Alis, the 18 year old daughter of a rich vassal knight.

Sir Derwyn was gifted five servants from Count Roderick. He also learned that Sir Armagil claims that he had a feud with Sir Derwyn's father, and now considers Sir Derwyn his opponent in this feud. Sir Roderick advised against settling the matter in a duel.

Sir Crandall decorated his manor hall with the motif of his coat of arms: silvery birds on a green field. His younger brother Berth marries.

Sir Gildas spent time with a visiting wise hermit. It's noted that his younger brother Mabon has been very boastful.

Sir Sionyn was granted a large stipend from Count Roderick for investments at his manor, but chose not to use it. He married Gwenevak, an ordinary woman. A Sir Maugan appeared, claiming he is already married to Gwenevak. Sir Sionyn settled the matter by force.
