This was once an important Roman city, and is now the primary seat of the Duke of Clarence.
The city is more a remnant of greater times, than a thriving city. The walls of the city have gaps where the folk of the surrounding areas have stolen stone to create homes and fences. There are signs of ancient grandeur everywhere, building that formerly held the offices of the Roman rulers now stand empty. In the center of the city is a cathedral, tended by local priests of both the Roman and British churches. The streets are muddy and beggars and peasants can be found everywhere.
