After meeting with the party who came to investigate the orcish attacks from the north, he revealed that the skirmishes were the work of his brother, Grommok the Mighty, who was cast out from their society for being too violent. Murzol wants to live in peace, which upset his brother, and promised the party peace if they took his Grommok out for good.
After the party was successful, he kept his promise, and allowed emissaries from the south to negotiate a peace between the two races.
