"This sigil, forged by Eysus, marks the ascension of The Forgotten One, God of Destruction and Decay, born as a mortal dark elf, killed and resurrected, risen to divinity at 524 years of age, dwells in the Abyss. Henceforth forever a part of the divine pantheon."
The Key is made of purified platinum and gold. The text is undecipherable, but is a form of celestial or abyssal. It has four indents indicating that the key is not complete.
Being attuned to the Key grants the following benefits:
- You can't be charmed or frightened.
- You can cast "Charm Person" without concentration once. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-5 you can't cast it again until next dawn. (DC Wisdom 17)
- Attuning to the item for the first time requires the attunée to succeed a DC 17 wisdom saving throw or take two levels of exhaustion.
- Any time you want to use one of the spells of the Key, you must use a bonus action to either siphon your own life energy, or draw blood from a willing or incapacitated creature within your reach, using a piercing or slashing melee weapon. The spell must be cast within 1 minute of the damage being dealt. The subject takes 1d4 damage of the appropriate type, or 1d4 necrotic damage if siphoned from yourself (this damage cannot be reduced in any way).
