Elmroots friend from the tribe.
He used to be known as Oak, but after one of Lark's trips to one of the other tribes, he brought back a piece of silver. Oak/Silver was enthralled by this shiny piece and it became a keepsake of his, and also the inspiration behind his name. After Elmroot gave him a gold coin as a parting gift, he changed his name to Gold.
He is a little alternative, even by the tribes standards, and he often advises the rest of the tribe in breathing exercises and stretching to help them calm down and keep their balance.
