Originally an adopted child of Bartholomew Hawthorne, he was kidnapped as a group of thieves broke into and emptied the family vault of the Hawthorne family. Having seen their faces, the thieves was forced to decide between killing the poor kobold or taking him with them. They chose the latter, and as they met with their benefactor, he decided that he had someone who might be interested in his talents.
As The Flock raided Unknown and Raam's operation in Ravenforge, they found and released Kevin, reuniting him with his father the next day.
