City of Hojo

Yazi Capital City

Hojo, known famously as the "City of Dragons," stands as a vibrant jewel along the western shores of the Bay of Blossoms. Founded by Dragon Emperor Ryujin Hattori at the dawn of the Third Age, Hojo serves as the capital and beating heart of the flourishing Y’azi Empire. Its unique lotus-petal design radiates outward from the central plaza known as "The Pillars of Harmony", each petal comprising a distinct district, each steeped in purpose, prestige, and tradition. From bustling trade ports to sacred temples, Hojo epitomizes harmony amidst complexity, reflecting the refined balance that Y'azi culture reveres.

Geography & Environment

Hojo nestles gracefully upon the coastline of the Bay of Blossoms, embraced by lush farmland and serene waters. To the city's south sprawl extensive rice paddies, meticulously managed by The Harvest Exchange, ensuring food security and prosperity. The ocean-facing cliffs southwest house the tranquil Serene Petal Gardens and the legendary Bearded Lung Inn, overlooking the sparkling sea. Further south, The Port of Pearls thrives, teeming with fishermen and traders harvesting the bay's bounty—fish, clams, and precious pearls.

History

Hojo rose majestically from the devastation wrought by The Aeonic Struggle, meticulously designed by Emperor Ryujin Hattori himself. Built upon ideals of unity, resilience, and balance, the city soon flourished into a beacon of Y'azi Dragonborn culture and strength. Through successive generations, Hojo’s influence expanded, becoming a vital political, cultural, and economic capital of the empire.
