Asharion

Asharion is a (relatively) young, fiery member of the Talons of the Timeless Tome and apprentice to the legendary monk Uriel. Once an aspirant to knighthood in the Mytharil Empire, his life took a drastic turn when he was cursed into his current Unknown form during the fall of the empire.

Though burdened by his transformation and a volatile temper, Asharion has shown immense potential as a martial artist and a seeker of knowledge. His journey of discipline and growth under Uriel’s mentorship is as much a tale of redemption as it is one of self-discovery.

Appearance

Asharion cuts a striking figure, his fiery nature reflected in his vibrant appearance.

Origins

Asharion was born into the Mytharilese Empire, raised among the nobility with dreams of becoming a knight. His natural charisma and ambition set him apart, but his headstrong nature often landed him in trouble.

During the First Continuum Crisis, when the empire crumbled under the weight of planar chaos, Asharion’s life was irrevocably altered. Seeking to protect his people, he crossed paths with Valekith during his ultimate betrayal of the Mythar, which led to him being transformed into the Owlin form he now assumes. The curse, though physically altering, also seemed to amplify his fiery temperament.

A Troubled Apprentice

After his transformation, Asharion sought refuge among Unknown, hoping to find purpose in his new existence. His brash nature, however, soon brought him into conflict with others, most notably Solandir, an esteemed sorcerer among the Talons. Perceiving an insult during a scholarly debate, Asharion’s temper flared, leading to a physical altercation that disrupted the sanctity of the Archives of Empyrean.

This disturbance caught the attention of the Rift-Maester Orion, who demanded strict consequences. Uriel, seeing potential in Asharion, offered to take him under his wing and promised Orion that no further disturbances would occur. Under Uriel’s guidance, Asharion began training in the Path of Stellar Transcendence, though his progress has been anything but smooth.

Personality

Asharion is as fiery in spirit as he is in appearance, a trait that has earned him both admiration and frustration from those around him.

At the present, he is granted the rank of Talon-Keeper, but Asharion has grown envious towards the title of Talon-Warden due to his often vainglorious ideals.

Uriel believes Asharion could one day become a Warden in his own right, perhaps even surpassing his master, if he can learn to channel his energy constructively. For now, Asharion remains a pupil, carving his path one misstep—and one triumph—at a time.
