There are two kinds of orcs: Orcs and Deep Orcs. The ‘Orcs’ are the orcs who’ve been on the surface for thousands of years; meanwhile the Deep Orcs have been below it. There is often resentment and hostility between Orcs and Deep Orcs. Orcs believe that Deep Orcs are untrustworthy, weak to the sun, and bottom-feeding freaks. Deep Orcs, in contrast, believe surface orcs are untrustworthy, human-like, sun-loving weaklings.
Naming Conventions
Orcs generally have patronyms (or matronyms among some tribes). grozh, grizh, or gruzh for "son of" and drizh, druzh, or drozh for "daughter of." For example, Hrolub, the daughter Grosuppa, is known in full as "Queen Hrolub druzh-Grosuppa."
Orcs have a height typical (by human standards) of their ST, but weigh 10 pounds more.
