The Black-Skull Tribe is a fierce orc tribe centered in Cafalls. It is known for its warlords' brutality and reluctance to engage in diplomacy.

The tribe is distantly related to the Unknown.

Customs

The Black-Skulls got their name from their custom. After a battle, the Black-Skull warriors sever the heads of their defeated enemies and form them into a pyre to burn them. The remaining pile of blackened skulls became their symbol and namesake. These “skull-cairns” mark their territories.

Generally the skull of the most renowned or powerful orc (i.e. the one with most status) is placed at the top of the cairn, while the skull of the most hated is placed in the center of the bottom (hidden from view).
