Overview
Heidi Hubnelly is more than just a fishing and sailing supply merchant—she is a living archive of Lygos’ maritime history. For over a hundred years, she’s sailed the coasts, navigated treacherous straits, and traded with ports most locals can’t even name. Now retired from the sea, she operates a small shop near the docks, selling gear to sailors, fishermen, and would-be adventurers. Her slow, measured speech and tendency to wander through stories make conversations with her a test of patience—but those who listen often walk away with rare knowledge or valuable leads.

- Among Captains: Seen as a lucky charm and wise advisor—her blessing before a voyage is considered good fortune.
- Among Adventurers: A reliable but time-consuming source of critical information.
Sample Dialogue
- “Ahh… Captain Graylock. Yes, yes… he still owes me a net, come to think of it. Now, that was the summer the Whitespray ran thick with silverfin, which reminds me of the time…”
- “Rope? Nets? Or perhaps you’re here for the kind of knot that keeps a ship—and a crew—together?”
- “The sea teaches you patience, child. Or it swallows you whole. I chose patience.”
