Though some struggle against their dark birthright, others embrace their devilish charm and terrifying power."
Cambion Traits
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1 (your choice).
Age. Cambions mature at the same rate as their mortal parentage, but they often stop aging in their prime, appearing youthful for centuries.
Size. Cambions are Medium, typically standing between 5 and 7 feet tall, often with toned, graceful frames that reflect their demonic heritage.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Demonic Wings (Limited Flight)
· You have a pair of bat-like wings, granting you a flying speed of 30 feet, but you cannot fly while wearing medium or heavy armor.
· You must land at the end of your turn unless you have a flying speed from another source.
Fiendish Allure
· Your demonic heritage gives you a naturally commanding presence.
· You have proficiency in Persuasion and Deception.
· You can cast Charm Person once per long rest using this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability.
Abyssal Endurance
· You have a natural resistance to magic that would affect your mind or body.
· You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
· If you are reduced to 0 HP, you can drop to 1 HP instead, but this ability can only be used once per long rest.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Abyssal, and Infernal.
Roleplaying a Cambion
· A Demon’s Legacy. Cambions are not merely Tieflings—they are the direct children of demons. Do you embrace your chaotic, fiendish nature, or do you fight to overcome your dark heritage?
· Temptation and Power. Cambions exude charm and danger, making them natural manipulators. Do you use this to win allies, deceive enemies, or bring ruin to those around you?
· Wings of the Abyss. Many Cambions hide their wings in society, as they are a dead giveaway of their demonic origins. Do you conceal your nature or revel in it?
· Mortal vs. Fiend. Your human (or tiefling) blood grants you free will, but your demonic parent may try to control or tempt you. Do you defy their influence, or do you seek their power?
