In a small field where cattle graze, there are four ancient stones. Three of them are arranged at crooked angles to hold a fourth placed on top of them. According to legend, those passing under Tripod Rock on certain nights of the year while carrying a sprig of fresh columbine in their teeth will find themselves walking the Path to the Fairylands.
