Kimberly is an active and outdoorsy person who loves nature. She enjoys hiking, camping, and bird watching, and is more than willing to drag her whole family outdoors for an overnight camping trip regardless of the weather. Although she didn't get the same interest in politics from her father Morris Hoyle that her brother Brigham learned, she works with local community groups to improve parks and nature trails. She does not think highly of the pollution caused by the Union Chemical Plant, or the removal of local forests by Hayden Montgomery.
Kimberly is married to Michael, and they have two children: a ten year old boy named Christian and an eight year old daughter named Alex.
