Voor Daran Palace

Located 90 miles east of Seregon on the One Road.

Tur Nyaan was one of the most formidable members of The Arcane Octad an elite circle of wizards known for their mastery over arcane forces and their ruthless pursuit of power. He was a master of demonology, able to summon and bind powerful entities from the infernal realms. His palace, Voor Daran, was both a sanctuary and a fortress, protected by intricate magical wards and home to countless summoned demons who acted as his servants and guardians.

The Palace of Voor Daran

Voor Daran was built in a remote and desolate location, far from any major settlements. The palace itself was an architectural marvel, a blend of dark, foreboding spires and arcane geometry designed to amplify Tur Nyaan’s magical power. Its walls were made of black stone, etched with runes that pulsed with a dim, eerie light.

The Tribute

For centuries, Seregon and cities even further away, were forced to send regular tributes to Tur Nyaan to appease his wrath. These tributes included powerful magical artifacts, rare alchemical ingredients, and ancient scrolls containing forgotten spells. The process of sending tribute became a ritualized affair, with caravans escorted by heavily armed guards and skilled wizards to ensure that the offerings reached their destination safely.

Each tribute was received by demonic servants at the gates of Voor Daran, who would then present them to Tur Nyaan. It was said that the wizard could discern the value of each offering with a mere glance, and anything that displeased him was immediately incinerated in a blast of hellfire.

The Spear of Asura is believed to have been given to Tur Nyaan as tribute one year.

The Fall of Voor Daran

A hundred years ago, a tribute caravan from Seregon arrived at Voor Daran to find the palace in ruins. The once-thriving fortress was eerily silent, its demonic guardians nowhere to be seen. The terrified caravan drivers fled, leaving behind the tribute they had brought. Since that day, the demands from Tur Nyaan ceased, and Voor Daran became a place of legend. The palace’s spells remained intact, and anyone who attempted to enter would be met with deadly traps, powerful curses, or worse—the lingering spirits of the demons that once served the wizard.

The Legends of Voor Daran

In the years following Tur Nyaan’s disappearance, Voor Daran became a forbidden zone. Travelers and treasure hunters who ventured too close often disappeared without a trace, fueling rumors that the palace was still guarded by the wizard’s most powerful demons. It is said that Tur Nyaan’s treasure remains hidden within the palace, guarded by both his magic and the infernal beings he once commanded.

Many believe that the key to Tur Nyaan’s power lies within the palace, locked away in a secret chamber known only to the wizard himself. Some say that he left behind a powerful grimoire containing all his knowledge, while others speak of a portal to another realm where Tur Nyaan now resides, waiting for the right moment to return.

Despite the dangers, Voor Daran continues to draw the interest of scholars, adventurers, and power-hungry individuals. The idea of discovering Tur Nyaan’s secrets—or claiming his treasure—has proven too tempting for many, even as the palace itself remains a deadly and mysterious monument to a long-dead wizard’s ambition and power.
