Zestari Phinorin

Zestari Phinorin, a wizard who studied at the Lykeion Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences from the affluent Phinorin family of the Sultanate of Sahar, the capital of Kazim, has disappeared in the jungle with an adventuring party from Sahar. With a 500gp reward offered for her return, her disappearance has become the talk of the grand city. Known for her unorthodox magical training, Zestari has a reputation for being both brilliant and dangerous.

Description:

Zestari is in excellent physical condition, a notable feature for a wizard who spends much of her time practicing arcane arts. Her style is distinctive:

  • She wears a blue vest with golden trim over a crisp white shirt, accompanied by red leather gloves and pants.
  • Her red boots flare at the collars, and her chestnut hair is silky, moderate in length, framing her face.
  • Her voice is smooth yet unnerving, always level but with a slight creepiness that unsettles most people, even in casual conversation.

Background:

Zestari's family is rich, deeply tied to the traditions and wealth of Sahar, a city that flourishes in the heart of the desert, ruled by the Sultanate. Despite her aristocratic background, Zestari normally eschewed formal magical education, but went to the academy on the urging of her parents. Her magic is potent, but her volatile nature and lack of structure have led to dangerous experiments. Rumors swirl that she was dabbling in shadow magic before her disappearance.

Kazim and the Dune Elves:

Kazim, the capital of Sahar, is a majestic city rising from the golden dunes, a marvel of elven architecture and ingenuity. The Dune Elves who reside there have flourished in the harsh desert environment for centuries, and the city is a vibrant hub of trade, culture, and magic. Zestari’s family holds sway in many elite circles, but her disappearance is shrouded in secrecy, leading some to believe that not all is as it seems.

Whoever finds her may discover that her disappearance is not a simple case of getting lost in the jungle, but something much more sinister.
