Dawnblades

Defunct

The ancient Olmoy adventuring party who defeated Yaxun B’alam and killed the Great Old One, Yig, in the serpentmen city of Ilmurea

  1. Abarrane the Dawnblade – The revered warrior-heroine of the Olmoy, Abarrane wielded a sacred blade said to radiate the first light of dawn. Known for her courage and unbreakable resolve, she led the final charge against Yig, dealing the fatal blow that sealed the serpent god’s fate.
  2. Ixchel Kin-Seer – A visionary oracle, Ixchel was gifted with the power to glimpse possible futures and foresee dangers. Her insight guided the group through the twisting passages of Ilmurea, keeping them safe from Yig’s ambushes and the city’s traps.

  3. Nahual of the Serpent's Bane – A fierce shape-shifter, Nahual had the rare ability to take the form of sacred jungle beasts. His skill in tracking and evading serpentfolk patrols earned him his title, and he is credited with outwitting Yig’s guardians to secure a path to the Old One himself.

  4. Ek’ Chuuaj the Flamebinder – A shaman of fire and storm, Ek’ Chuuaj wielded Olmoy magic to call down fiery rains upon Yig’s loyalists. His powerful flame magic was crucial in the final battle, weakening Yig’s defenses and allowing Abarrane to strike the killing blow.

  5. Tz’unun Bak the Sun’s Arrow – An unmatched archer and marksman, Tz’unun Bak carried enchanted arrows blessed by the Olmoy sun priests. His arrows struck true even in the darkness of Ilmurea, and it was said that his final shot pierced Yig’s eye, blinding the Old One in the seconds before his death.

Each of these heroes brought unique skills and magic to the battle against Yig, and their names live on in Olmoy legend as the champions who saved their people from the dark god’s influence.
