Micha was a young Cuban boy living in Cuba during the economic and political toil in the middle of the 20th century after WWII. He left his home at 14 years old due to verbal and physical abuse by a drunken father. Micha spent a lot of time on the streets, homeless, and picking up odd jobs wherever he could, frequently harassed and belittled on the streets. Semi-literate Michae taught himself how to read and was inspired by the men in the streets standing up for their beliefs. Despite being soft-spoken and quiet, he joined the Communist Party, serving as a runner, even running messages between guerilla groups. Micha would go to meet and serve the likes of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. For the first time in his life, Micah felt he belonged and had a purpose in life. Unfortunately, Micah’s life was cut short when he was caught in crossfire by the Cuban military. Struggling to hold on, Micah killed a couple of soldiers before fleeing into the night. Pursued by more soldiers and refusing to die before he could deliver his message, Micah ran into his Sire in the mountains of Cuba. Micah begged the strange creature to save him so he could continue his cause, intrigued by the boy’s pleas, the Nosferatu agreed.
Micah quickly awoke, initially
startled by his rapid healing, but starving, killed the soldiers who pursued
him. His Nosferatu Sire nowhere to be found, Micah continued his quest. He was
able to deliver the vital piece of intel the revolution needed but beginning to
already feel the horrible transformation starting to happen to his body, Michah
hid in the forest.
