As the group leaves for the night, Briar appears in Deer's Creek, concerned about Collette after receiving numerous visions and voices pertaining to the manor. Briar then discloses their feelings for Collette. Collette, recognizing that she likes Briar, but still unsure about her feelings, agrees to be in a relationship. Briar gives Collette the drawings they drew and informs that they are staying at the marina with Clyde.
Sierra, Jacqueline, and Irene head to the library to learn more about the Stewart Manor and the town's history. They meet up Marsh and Ethan. Ethan who had agreed at the party to take out Sierra to the woods to go hiking and learn survival skills after the library. Ayita, a librarian and historian, gives the group a tour of the library and a brief tour. They learn that the original town was Ashton Pines and was founded by Martin Von Ashton, his brother Richard Ashton, and the Landry, Stewart, and Robertson families. They discover the family trees of Ashton, and Stewart with Marshall Grant being noticeably absent. In the archives, they find multiple newspapers pertaining to the Stewart family, the decline of the families' fortunes, pirate gold being found, and an article on Meredith Stewart's accidental death at the manor. They also find Gregoy Grant, Marsh's uncle's, police report by then police officer Connor Roberton, detailing his death by accidental drowning within the family home. Irene discovers the locked Historical Association door and looks through Ayita's office, finding her research and notes on Garou dealings.
Sierra, on the edge of hunger induced frenzy and anger at her helicopter mother, leaves the library upset only to chased down by Ethan who reveals that he is the wolf who helped her other night. Ethan discloses that he doesn't believe that she is a monster and shouldn't automatically be damned. He discloses that he wants to help her in exchange for her being able to keep the secret that he is a werewolf, Garou. Ethan shows his trust of her by allowing her to feed from him and she is able to maintain her willpower and resist frenzying. He agrees to show her out to hunt. Jacqueline texts Anders for help who goes to Sebastian. Sebastian heads to the library to end the situation, only to discover the teens coming together. He later reprimands Sierra and encourages her to think before placing others in a situation.
Fed up with Irene avoiding him, Emery goes to the manor to find her. He confesses that he still has feelings for her and wants to start their relationship over. Irene discloses that she is pregnant but not Kindred, stating that they can no longer be together. Emery convinces her to allow him back into her life and are still trying to figure out their relationship going forward.
As our evening comes to a close, cue a cinematic camera pan from the two crying together outside, to Anders and Jacqueline making out and ripping each other's clothes off, to Sebastian banging his head against the wall, to Sierra crying in a ball, to Jesse and Corrine just spooning there as ghosts knock shit over in their room, then finally to Collette who just has old Koss headphones on, jamming out while the world burns around her.
