Irene attends the Pine Mill County Association gala dinner with Emery. She listens to Ranger's speech on the company and Deer's Creek. She realizes Briar is back in town after spotting Briar and Collette together. She confronts Collette later in the evening with both agreeing to keep their enemies close. Irene reveals to Emery what Darnell had done to her and what she is now.
Collete and Briar go on a date to the pier where upon Collette feeds from Briar. They later sneak into the gala and are spotted by Irene.
The teens consult the local coven for help. The teens are informed that Grant died of old age, having outlived his son and grandson with his daughter having run away. They are given stones of protection that will help ward off negative energy. Sierra is encouraged to join the coven along with Charlotte.
