Madame Rosa, born Maria Rosetti, in Normandy, France was born to the parents of two laborers and when orphaned at the age of 7 and sent to a covenant, appeared destined to fade into obscurity. Maria was determined to be part of something more, become someone more, running away at the age of 13 years old and becoming Madam Rosa. She spent her youth traveling France learning divination and tarot card reading. Her readings would go on to advise leaders of the French Revolution like Robespierre and foreign dignities like Tsar Alexander I. Fleeing the instability of France after the French Revolution, Madame Rosa traveled much of Europe vising the parlors of nobility and the back alleys of famous cities touting her abilities.
It was not until her older years that her readings attracted the attention of her Malkavian sire who saw her potential for real talent. Madame Rosa eventually left Europe during the instability of WWI and attracted to the wealth of the United States, traveled much of the greater 50 states before rapid industrialization after WWII brought her to Detroit in the hopes of offering her services to burgeoning businessmen. After decades of living in Detroit, Madame Rosa has grown comfortable in her position after years of advising the Council but growing unrest among newer Malkavians and recent political stability has shaken her confidence. Her stubbornness prevents her from leaving the city.
