With the emergence of a new time lord, Palantir has sent several Istari to do damage control. While they thought that they would have to deal with only the time lord, it turns out that the Midnight's Fall earth is also a nexus point, leading them to train and prepare more agents to deal with emerging threats.

A new task force was set up with four Istari: Eve, Silver, Simon and Nova - backed by one Mairon, Drake. They were deployed at the beginning of the year 1970 and were ordered to establish a resistance network that would be used in the future to contain the Time Lord's machinations and deal with any opportunists trying to profit off of the Nexus world.
While Simon and Silver would operate separately, Nova and Eve due to their lack of experience would be grouped together to infiltrate the Stone and establish themselves as competent agents.
