One of the largest buildings in the Village of Barovia, the Blood of the Vine tavern had a blazing hearth, and served cheap wine and food such as dark nut bread and cheeses. It lacked luxuries, but was nonetheless on of the few comforts the village had to offer.
The tavern was owned by Vistani loyal to Strahd von Zarovich, causing many in the village to avoid the place out of fear, but employed local staff. Vistani would often stop in as a neutral meeting ground.
