Last session, we picked up with Ignis and Kaida checking in on their friends in Kamari. Neither Stormy nor Sylvester Greystone had heard anything about strange men walking around the town, but they agreed to keep an eye out. Sylvester begrudgingly went back to Kaida's dorm for his last night in the city, and Stormy asked Ignis to meet up again later in the week to discuss the plan for the heist.
The next day, Winrey Crewe approached Tyr asking for help getting ready for the Homecoming dance on Gitera. He and Kyr spent some time in The Detention Bog gathering marshwicks and everyone helped out bringing boxes of decorations from The Biblioplex to Dapplewing Manor. While setting up decorations at the manor, Kyr discovered Lail Ravenwood and Zanther Bowen making a poster inviting their fellow seniors to attempt to find Sassy Sally Jane -- a legendary doll that had been confiscated by Vernon Rachard years ago and is stored away somewhere in Dapplewing Manor. After some hijinks including a floating Kailee and a jealous Beth, the manor was all set up and ready to go for the following evening.
But some less happy events also happened less session. Headmaster Thaddeus Coleraton held a surprise announcement to tell everyone of Lenna Gilvaris' passing and to tell the faculty and staff that there would be a memorial service held on Oketera that weekend.
As well, both Stormy and Dr. Maxwell Knight were consulted prior to the heist. Stormy told Ignis that she would help in whatever way she could, including being a lookout if that was required. She wasn't super pleased with there being other students involved in the plan, but she understood the necessity. A snooping Luna cut the conversation short. Dr. Knight had some more intel on what to expect in the manor during the dance. He told them the stairways would be roped off for students and that the Earl would be upstairs during the event to keep an eye out for anyone who shouldn't be up there. He agreed to leave his office window unlocked and his faculty key in his desk drawer -- although he noted that it does not work for other faculty offices or for the storage room door. He agreed to try to find some scrolls that could be of use to the party but made no promises that he would be able to acquire them so last minute. He insisted that the crates be brought back to his clinic in Kamari after the heist.
